Founded in 1982, Teatro De Artes De Juan Seguin is a nonprofit cultural arts organization dedicated to the preservation, education, and celebration of Mexican American and Tejano heritage. Through the performing, visual, culinary, literary, and traditional arts, we provide multigenerational, culturally relevant programming that uplifts historically marginalized communities and fosters pride in cultural identity.

OUR STORY
Teatro was the brain child of three visionaries who wanted to make sure that the children of Seguin and surrounding areas had a place where they could express their love of culture. Along with the three visionaries also came numerous people from the community who helped pave the way for Teatro.
